The Temple of Isis
"Thoughts While in Glastonbury"

Temple of Isis, Geyserville
"I wrote the following as I was sitting on the patio of the exact place where Dion
Fortune, the great occult writer, had her temple in Glastonbury England. I was there to go to the yearly Goddess Festival.
It was right at the entrance to the Tor on one side and the Chalice Well on the other. I wanted to share the thoughts I wrote
from this sacred place."
ISIS, in our temple, is thought of as the mother of all nature. Basically we all know her as Mother
Earth. Today, we, at our Temple encourage all humans to observe with awe the amazing beauty that surrounds us on this planet.
This awe can be expanded into a feeling of worship which leads to a desire to preserve all life. Therefore we honor all beings
as sacred.

The Temple of Isis existed 5000 years ago but the worship of the divine feminine
goes back to the beginning of humanity. As many began to feel her presence Temples sprang up in her honor. Today there is
a renewal of the worship of the Goddess, but she has never really disappeared. Many are finding her presence in dreams or
as magical manifestations as she is so needed on our planet, now incredibly out of balance, brought about by the patriarchal
preponderance enveloping our lives.
Many people simply believe in one God who they think is responsible for everything on
earth They see him as a vengeful God, one that sees, like Santa Claus, whether you’re naughty or nice. I have often
said if there is a God then there must be a Goddess, God would have wanted it that way.

| The Goddess Isis |
The image of the Goddess is that of a benevolent female which in the ancient Egyptian civilization is most
often depicted as ISIS. She has wings and wears on her head, either the cow horns cradling a disk representing the sun or
the moon. Her other symbol is a throne demonstrating her ability to rule wisely. Her wings are symbols of protection and I
see them as encircling the Earth. There were many other Goddesses and Gods in the Egyptian pantheon, each God having a Goddess
so there was a balance of male and female.
ISIS is known as the great mother Goddess and under her wings all other Goddesses and
Gods dwell. She is mistress of magic and when one is in touch with her some very profound synchronicities begin to happen.
Those that follow her often notice this phenomenon and you are advised to try it and see if it works for you. ISIS is there
for you!
Believe me you have only to address her by name and thoughtfully ask her what you may
want. Be patient and watch for signs and symbols to follow for she will put them in place for you to find. What is important
is for you to observe nature, for all answers are to be found in this magical realm.
She loves songs and if you are open to it you will find that you will receive both word
and melodies at odd moments. Listen and write the words down to be sung with others later.
She likes writing and if you are receptive she will guide your pen to produce words that
you did not create for she can guide your pen or your computer. She enjoys dancing and will inspire you to move your body
in ways that will raise your vibrations. She loves art of all kinds and you can create under her tutelage with great ease.
Begin to do all manner of positive things that come to mind and she will be there to guide you if you are open to it.
Invoke her every day and maintain an altar with her presence . This is where you will go for inspiration.
Keep two candles burning day and night. Use incense and flowers, feathers and water to represent the elements. ISIS will be
there for you!

of Isis, in which she has long been both a member and an ordained priestess. She founded the Temple of
Isis at Geyserville, California in 1996. The Temple of Isis is a legally recognized church which offers legal minister

equates with Mother Earth, and has been worshipped longer than any other deity known on this planet." Loreon also owns
