Ode to a Thousand Year Old Oak Tree
by Lamia Tesenisis
Lyceum of Isis of Ten Thousand Names
Lamia writes that this poem came to her while sitting beneath a thousand year old oak tree in Brittany.
rough, bumpy, rubbing
blanket of blue
flashes of silver and yellow
waves of orange and red
letting go
going with the flow
cleansing
returning home
returning to Her
softness, caressing, warmth
being afloat
drifting in the waves like seaweed
home -
finally home
in the warm darkness
of the red substance of life!
you enfold me in your arms
you hold me
you give me strength,
confidence and trust
your breath caresses my thoughts
and touches my heart
your magnitude gives me power
and the joy of life -
life pure
the red river flowing
how blest am I to receive these gifts
your vibrant life envelopes me
and offers me an oasis
of calm and contemplation

Her Embrace
by Paul 'The Mystic Fool' Ingrassia
Scribe of the House of Life
within the womb,
soft and dark,
nurtured safely
rising crown over vernal green
in Her embrace ...
lover's caress,
warm and moist,
passionate lust
rising disc over muggy heat
in Her embrace ...
golden years,
slow and easy,
fond memories
waning crescent over crisp leaves
in Her embrace ...
day's end,
spirit free,
triumphant return
blackened moon over frozen earth
to Her embrace ...
Mystic Child
by Irisi Meskhenet
Mystic Child
She was born in a world she didn't belong.
She was born under signs that was not her
Mystic Child
Growing up trying to fit in.
Trying to find a place she didn't belong
Many tears have been shed
Why she asks am I here if I do not belong?
Mystic Child
You are here not to fit in,
but to learn and grow and discover who you are.
Your purpose is not to be served but to serve.
To serve the Lady and Lord by serving humanity.
But you must know who you are and stop trying to fit in.
Mystic Child
Child of wonder. Child of the stars
Child of light Child of Aset.
Mystic Child you have come so far
Do not give up cause things get hard.
Mystic Child like a flower
You will bloom
In time to come you will understand
Mystic Child listen to your heart.

Searching for what you must know, You will leave our world below. Stars will guide you through
the night In your self-embracing flight.
You will learn Eternal Laws And absorb the Universe Beauty source
will show its face At the end of journey's maze.
You will see that what you know Must be taken down below.
Tell them what they should embrace Making Earth a kinder place.

No fear of Darkness need remain within
Thou children seeking love and force in Light.
The sanctest place in which I've ever been
Is wrapped inside the arms of fetal night.
For when the moon, sublime, obscures the sun,
The highest mystery within man finds
Ensconced within her umbral glow as one,
At last made free of Light so bright it blinds.
And lying, shaded under Earth's embrace
Is where all seeds are nurtured, sprout, and grow,
At last emerging, seeing sun's fair face,
Who brightly shines, but Night you first must know.
So seek her out, the Queen of Night and Shade,
Into whose loving arms, the sun shall daily fade.
I Give Myself to Thee
by Paul 'The Mystic Fool' Ingrassia
Scribe of the House of Life
Great Lady Isis,
Queen of Gods,
Mother of All,
I praise Thee!
Goddess of Goddesses,
Called Kwan Yin, Inanna,
Gaia, Mary, and 10,000 others,
I honor Thee!
Isis the All Woman,
You are my mother, sister, wife,
Daughter, the Yin within all,
I love Thee!
Goddess of Earth,
Hear the cries of Your children,
Protect, nurture, and guide them,
I beseech Thee!
Isis of the wings and crescent,
Hear the adoration of Your children,
As they honor You in thought and deed,
I worship Thee!
Goddess of my mind,
Goddess of my spirit,
Goddess of my body,
I give myself to Thee!
